Wot's a Wot Hotel?
Wot Hotels are a new way for properties on Wotif.com to drop their
prices even lower, without affecting the way people think about
their brand. You could book the same room in the same hotel through
their normal listing on our site, but this way you're getting it a
lot cheaper.
It's a bit like the old mystery flights - you know you're staying in
a great hotel and getting it really cheap, you're just not 100% sure
which hotel.

Why hide the name?
When you're a luxury hotel, dropping your prices too low can make
some people think that you're not such a flash hotel after all.
Wot Hotels are properties that are already listed on our site -
we've been working with some of them for seven years or more. But
because they want to offer you a price that is less than the
cheapest rate that their hotel chain or group allows them to charge,
they can't put their name next to the price. They'd get a slap on
the wrist from head office if they did.

How do I know where I'm
staying?
As soon as you book, you'll receive your normal Wotif.com
confirmation with all the hotel details included: the property's
name, address, phone number and directions will all be there.
Right from the start, you'll know the general area the property is
in, but not their exact address. You'll also know what their star
rating is. For example, you'll know it's a 5 star hotel on the Gold
Coast, or 4½ star apartments in Sydney.

Why would I book a Wot Hotel
deal?
Ever said these words: "I don't care where we go this weekend, let's
just go!" Want 5 star, but you don't care which one? Like the
idea of a 4 star apartment, but aren't fussed about the name on the
front door? You'll love Wot Hotels! It's your chance to get a great
room, for a price you won't find anywhere else.
When you compare the price of a Wot Hotel with other similar
properties in the same area, we're convinced you'll see wot a
bargain they are. If you're sold on the price, and don't mind the
fact that you're not sure which hotel it is, book the Wot Hotel the
same way you would any other property on our site. Easy.

Wot else do I need to know?
With prices this low, all Wot Hotel deals have a strict no
cancellations and no changes policy, so make sure you're really OK
with the fact that you don't know which hotel you are booking. Once
you click Pay Now, it's too late to change your mind. But we're
convinced you'll be pleasantly surprised.
