Wot Hotels are our hotels that are willing to drop their
prices even lower, without getting in trouble from 'head office'. You can book the same room in the same hotel through
their regular listing on our site, but this way you're getting it a
lot cheaper.
It's a bit like the old mystery flights - you know you're staying in
a great hotel and getting it really cheap, you're just not 100% sure
which hotel it is until you book.
As soon as you book, you'll receive your normal Wotif.com
confirmation with all the hotel details included: their name, address, phone number and directions will all be there.

Did you know that you can add your favourite places to stay to a Shortlist, which you can quickly
access the next time you visit Wotif.com?
Next to each name on the search results pages, you'll see the Add to Shortlist icon.
Click this icon to add it to your Shortlist. Now every time you view deals in this region, your Shortlist
will appear at the top of the page. To remove a property from your Shortlist, simply click
the Shortlist icon again.

If you are thinking of leaving your home land for your next getaway, you might want to compare the prices of deals
shown in another currency. We've added a really neat way for you to do this without mucking about entering every
price into a currency converter.
For example, if you're browsing through a list of properties in Thailand, click the Currency Converter link at
the top-right of the searched list, select your preferred currency, and then click Show. You'll now see a second
line of deal prices in white, showing the approximate cost of the deal in the new currency.
This is designed to give you a rough idea of wot the deal costs in this second currency. You can also use this link
to access a "traditional" currency converter tool to convert single amounts at a time. Remember that currency
markets and exchange rates can change at any time, so you should only use this as an approximate guide. But it
is another great tool to make it easier to spot the right accommodation deal for you.

If you're looking for accommodation in just the right spot, take a look at our maps.
When you're looking at a property, click the Show Map button to open a map showing the exact location of that property. You can switch between a map or satellite view, depending on which you prefer, zoom in and out, and move the map around to see other areas.
At the top of the map, you can type in an address, or click a point on the map, to get directions to or from the property, including an estimate of the distance and the time it will take to drive there. Easy!
